Description
Family is a Genealogy application for Mac OS X that allows you to map out your family visually, associating images and files with each person and telling each person's story.
Features
- iLife and iSight: Family was designed from the ground up to be used by people during their day to day lives. Pictures and Stories are easily associated with each person including integration with iPhoto and iSight (or dv cameras). If you are at a family reunion you will easily be able to not only snap a photo with your built in iSight or external camera, but also jot down the information that is most important to you about each person, in a way that is intuitive and easy to use.
- Story Telling: Story Telling is something that we here at Saltatory are pretty proud of. Whenever any of us gather with members of our family, there's always a story to tell about each person. Family lets you include each person's story -- or any other information you choose -- with full formatting, links, and images. You can also associate documents, such as scanned birth certificates and speeches, with each person; these will be stored with your Family album file so you don't have to keep track of them yourself.
